I am just learning Cake. I have installed wamp on my pc and it works fine. I copy everything to a SUSE server and the cms path works fine but when I go cms/Articles on the server I get a 404 error file not found. I am guessing it is in the apache config.

have you checked your file permission of Article.?
because it is a linux server so may be a permission problems occured.
Sorry for the late reply but it is not permissions. I believe it has something to do with apache rewrite Options.
Also check your letter case, Linux is case sensitive.
