Installing Cake with MAMP PRO

I have a MACBOOK pro on which I use MAMP PRO and then the localhost that has for my website development and testing software. I am keen to put CAKE through its paces to ascertain how useful it is as a development framework. However I could not find out the Installation sequence if any to add CAKE to MAMP PRO . Has anybody done this type of installation or can specify the best way to do it
