What are pros and cons use cakephp for enterprise application over the java ( vertx microservice architecture)?

Ask I.T. folks at Fedex, UPS, CH Robinson, Landstar, JB Hunt.
Also about the logistics software for Sams and Walmart.

Facebook uses php, but has c++ classes for heavy hitting.

Bottom line PHP is not well suited for a large application. Medium is fine.

But even a large application, you need to look into load balancing.
