# File Cache Engine Array to String Conversion

Hello,

I’m having an issue in cake 2.8.  
I-m trying to save to a cache but get an array to string conversion notice and the cache is not created  
Has anyone had this issue?

You have to make sure `serialize = true` in your cache config.
