# Debug CakePHP - XDebug, AppServ, NetBeans

Hello guys, good morning!

XDEBUG Configuration

I’m trying a lot of times make xdebug works in my server (AppServ), but It has failed all times.  
The main goal is setting up debugger on NetBeans to test my CakePHP application.

I have downladed a “php\_xdebug-2.5.0-5.6-vc11.dll” and put into the folder:

C:\AppServ\php5\ext\php\_xdebug-2.5.0-5.6-vc11-x86\_64.dll

There was a configuiration into my PHP.ini where I set the xdebug module

zend\_extension=“C:\AppServ\php5\ext\php\_xdebug-2.5.0-5.6-vc11-x86\_64.dll”

xdebug.remote\_enable=1  
xdebug.remote\_handler=dbgp  
xdebug.remote\_host=localhost  
xdebug.remote\_port=9090 (I tried using 9000, but how my app is working service in 9090 port. I took this way)  
xdebug.extended\_info=1  
xdebug.default\_enable = On  
xdebug.collect\_includes = On  
xdebug.collect\_params = On  
xdebug.collect\_return = On  
xdebug.collect\_vars = On  
xdebug.dump\_globals = On

Making all this configurations, nothing happend, infortunately!

What I have make wrong in this case? Do you have any advice?
