# CakePHP website documentation search broken?

Is the CakePHP documentation search broken for anyone else?

[https://book.cakephp.org/4/en/index.html](https://book.cakephp.org/4/en/index.html) \> **Cookbook Search** input field

For me the AJAX requset to [search.cakephp.org](http://search.cakephp.org) is returning a 500 – anyone else?

I’m using macOS and have tried in Firefox, Brave, and Safari and all have the same result (just in case it was a plugin issue).

we are on it. Elastic Search doesn’t behave so this may take a bit…
