# CakePHP 3 on 64 bit Linux debian to connect with SQL\_Server 2008

Hi,  
i allready have an connection with freeTDS/mssql runnig but i think its not supported anymore since 1.3. So i would have no other choice than to connect via Microsoft® ODBC Driver 1.0 for Linux.  
But first is there a diffrent way to get the Database connection running ?

And if not has anyone expirenced working with Microsofts Driver?  
Or with Microsofts ODBC Driver 13 for Ubuntu ?
