Analogy for microservice architecture?

Is this a good analogy? For a small project (not internet scale, internal business database), where most services (Authentication, Clients, Customers…) would end up sitting on the same server. The end users are non-tech users who want a finished product, and not an API for their own projects.

It’s like a meeting, with everyone sat around a table. Yet everyone talks to each other by writing a letter and posting it.
